Under Amit Banerjee's leadership — 700 children, 9 schools, one mission: education for all.
Mr. Amit Banerjee, the Co-Founder of PANKH and a full-time Director, has taken Pankh to a professional level. Under his able leadership, PANKH is currently running 9 Remedial Schools and a Vocational Training Centre in Bodhgaya, Bihar.
These initiatives cater to the educational and nutritional needs of about 700 underprivileged children. Children and their families receive free education, books & stationery through evening classes, mid-day meals and ration support during emergencies.
In the past year, PANKH's Bodhgaya branch has made unprecedented progress in imparting basic literacy, life-building skills and healthy nourishment to children whose lives were badly affected by COVID-19.
