PANKH's Remedial Teaching Program in slums has gained momentum over the last few years. In the past 5 years, we have imparted literacy to more than 1,000 kids under this Program.
At the onset, children learn the 3 R's — Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. After that they catch on with other academic matters including English.
Our Program includes distribution of White Boards, Books, Stationery and Drawing Kits. Durries and Lighting fixtures are also provided. Teaching is carried out in batches of 25 and 50.
Apart from basic lessons, Hobby Classes in Art, Craft and Yoga, plus General Knowledge through globes and maps are imparted. PANKH's senior students also volunteer in this program.
