A School Born Out of Purpose

PANKH – The Creative School was set up by Ms. Alankrita Banerjee as its Founder on January 26, 2013 in the holy city of Rishikesh, amid verdant hills in the northern state of Uttarakhand.

It caters to the needs of underprivileged children coming from adjoining slums and rural areas — all from Below Poverty Level (BPL) families. At present, the school imparts free education to around 200 students with classes from Nursery to Class 11.

Its first Batch of Class 10 has passed the Board Exams with flying colours. PANKH believes that education must be holistic — not just academic, but creative, joyful, and life-giving.

"Education is a journey of self-exploration — natural, imbued with love, filled with intrigue."
